ABOUT SAM ZIEN
Well known as Sam the Cooking Guy, he is a YouTube and television personality who premiered an internet cooking show called The Sam Livecast in May of 2011. That show transitioned into his Sam the Cooking Guy YouTube channel.
He was an executive for a pharmaceutical company. He quit that job to focus on a career in travel television which was quickly derailed due to 9/11. He then began focusing on a cooking show.
He authored cookbooks called Just a Bunch of Recipes, Awesome Recipes and Kitchen Shortcuts and Just Grill This! He opened a restaurant in 2018 called Not Not Tacos.
He was based in San Diego, California.
He appeared in a The Today Show segment alongside Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb in 2008.
