ABOUT SAM HENNINGS

Actor, entertainer, artist, and performer who played the character of Detective Charlie "Whitehead" White in the TNT series Memphis Beat. He was also in shows such as Supernatural , Criminal Minds , Castle , Franklin & Bash , The Mentalist , ER , and Saving Grace . He was in films including The Aviator and Stolen.

He decided to become an actor in the early 1980s. He moved to Los Angeles where he studied at the Beverly Hills Playhouse.

He was in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and CSI: Miami . His earliest television appearances were in shows like Dallas and Moonlighting . He stands just shy of six feet, two inches tall. He is the son of Jack and Eleanor Hennings.

In the year 1972, he married Christine Wynne Kaupe.

He starred alongside Alfre Woodard and Jason Lee on Memphis Beat.
