Also known as Aunt Sally, she was a 1950s media icon known on stage, radio, and film for her cowgirl persona.
She performed on radio with her sister as one half of the Little Missouri Maids at age twelve.
She hosted radio programs in Philadelphia and New Jersey for more than two decades until 1971.
She got married to second husband Mark Grey. She had four sisters.
She welcomed guest Dick Clark as the host of Starr Theater.
