ABOUT SALEEM SAFI

Pakistani writer and journalist who is best known for his his weekly columns in the Daily Jang. He is also known for his work as a television anchor and reporter for several different networks including AVT Khyber, PTV News, and GEO News.

He attended the University of Peshawar and started his career as a reporter for News Network International in Mardan. He started his career as a television anchor and reporter in 2002 when he hosted the PTV World show Saleem Safi Kay Saath.

He is also known for having written and published several books concerning Afghanistan including Afghanistan: The Role of the US, Taliban, and Pakistani Religious Parties.

He was born and raised in the District of Mardan of Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa.

Other Pakistani reporters and hosts also known for their work with the GEO New network include Ayesha Bakhsh and Maria Memon .
