Professional pitcher that was drafted by the Atlanta Braves during the 37th round of the 2011 MLB Draft. He was acquired by the Washington Nationals via trade in January 2020.

He began his professional career playing for the Braves' rookie affiliate team the GCL Braves.

He made his major league debut pitching against the Cleveland Indians on March 31, 2019 as a member of the Minnesota Twins .

He is a native of Nashville, Tennessee.
