Ryan Zeferjahn
ABOUT RYAN ZEFERJAHN
Right-handed reliever that played college baseball at the University of Kansas from 2017 until 2019. While at Kansas, he earned All-Big 12 Academic team honors twice. Since being drafted in 2019, he has played for the Boston Red Sox and Los Angeles Angels during his professional baseball career.
He was a two-sport athlete while at Topeka Seaman High School. At the time, he played baseball and basketball.
During his sophomore and junior season at Kansas, he recorded back-to-back 100 strikeout seasons. In the process of doing so, he became the first Kansas Jayhawk ever to achieve this feat.
He grew up living with his parents and his two siblings. He has one brother and one sister.
He was selected during the 2019 MLB Draft just like Adley Rutschman .
