ABOUT RYAN BORUCKI

Veteran southpaw that was originally drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays as a 15th rounder in 2012. Nearly one decade later, he was acquired by the Seattle Mariners in June 2022. Since then, he has also pitched within the Chicago Cubs and Pittsburgh Pirates organizations.

He first began his minor league baseball career with the GCL Blue Jays rookie affiliate team. Unfortunately, his rookie season was cut short due to him having Tommy John surgery.

He made his official major league debut while pitching against the Houston Astros on June 26, 2018. He pitched six innings and allowed 2 earned runs.

He lives along with his wife, Leah, and their family. His daughter, Aubri, was born in 2024.

He credits Mark Buehrle as being one of his biggest baseball influences while coming up.
