ABOUT RUSS MARTIN
Host of the #1-rated radio show in Dallas, Texas, The Russ Martin Show. He worked in the Dallas area as a radio personality for over 30 years.
His career began in the 1980s while running religious programs on KGVL 1400 AM in Greenville, Texas.
In August of 2005, D Magazine named him the best radio talk show host in the Dallas area.
He was born in Pleasant Grove, TX, a working-class neighborhood in Southeast Dallas. At a young age, he gained inspiration watching the acting of Adam West and James Garner .
Following the departure of the Howard Stern Show, he began working the morning show shift in 1997 at the KEGL radio station.
