ABOUT RUDOLPH SCHENKER
German guitarist and founding member of the metal band Scorpions , for which he is the main songwriter.
He founded Scorpions when he was seventeen and they began performing local gigs.
He and Scorpions announced that their 2010 album Sting In the Tail would be their last.
He lives with his family in Hanover, Germany.
He is a contemporary of Iron Maiden's Bruce Dickinson .
