Film and music video director whose first feature film, 2009's Zombieland, was a critical and financial success. He has since gone on to direct movies like 30 Minutes or Less and Gangster Squad.
He worked as an HTML programmer in San Francisco after graduating from Wesleyan University.
He is also the director of music videos like M.I.A.'s "Galang" and Kid Sister's "Pro Nails."
He married Holly Shakoor in 2012.
He directed Jesse Eisenberg in the lead role of Columbus in Zombieland.
