ABOUT ROY ZIV
Rock and pop guitarist that initially began gaining popularity on the internet from his RoyZivMusic YouTube channel where he typically posted different guitar themed content such as music tutorials as well as some guitar solos. He later began gaining recognition on the internet following the release of his 2020 song "Defying Gravity" which has been streamed over 185,000 times on Spotify.
Prior to his professional music career, he attended the Rimon School of Music and the Berklee College of Music. He eventually decided to begin his professional music career in the year 2011.
He released his debut EP, Distant Visions, on September 25, 2020. Besides playing the guitar, he also has a passion for songwriting. Thus far, he has received over 500,000 subscribers and 134 million views on YouTube.
Although he was born in Israel, he grew up living with his family in Canada.
He posted a November 24, 2021 YouTube video where he recreated the song "Blinding Lights" by The Weeknd .
