She was scouted via Skype and signed with Wilhelmina Models.

In 2014, she was accused of stealing several candy bars and was subsequently arrested.

She is from the Netherlands. She has twin younger sisters named Isabelle and Valerie.

Both she and Elsa Hosk were Victoria's Secret Angels.
