ABOUT RONALDO HERNáNDEZ

Professional catcher that was first signed by Tampa Bay Rays as an international free agent in 2014. He was later traded to the Boston Red Sox in February 2021.

He initially began his professional career playing for the DSL Rays. After 13 games he was eventually promoted.

He hit a career-high 21 home runs during the 2018 minor league season. He also recorded a career-high 79 runs batted in during that season.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Arjona, Colombia.

He shares a November 11th birthday with Victor Cruz .
