Sought-after musician, arranger, producer, and audio engineer who worked for some of the biggest names in the music industry.
He co-founded Tejano-pop band Valentino while he was a senior in high school. He was mentored by fellow Texas musician Joel Guzman.
He collaborated with many legends, including Ray Charles , Sting , Stevie Wonder , Diana Ross , Wyclef Jean , and Eric Clapton .
He was born to an African-American father and a Mexican-American mother. He came of age in the barrios and ghettos of Houston's inner city, which exposed him to a wide variety of music, including Salsa, Tejano, Mariachi, soul, jazz, and hip hop.
He was Associate Producer for the theme song Gimme a Sign on the CBS TV series Now and Again, which starred Eric Close and Dennis Haysbert .
