ABOUT ROBERT WYATT
Former drummer for the Canterbury rock band Soft Machine who also pursued a successful solo career and has collaborated with artists including Bjork.
His mother was a journalist and his father was a psychologist. George Neidorf taught him how to play drums.
He released a solo album called Ruth Is Stranger Than Richard.
He married his wife Alfreda Benge in 1974.
He has worked with Elvis Costello .
