ABOUT ROBERT WESTERHOLT

Co-founder, lead guitarist, and a backing vocalist of the symphonic metal band Within Temptation.

He worked in human resource management while writing some of his own music.

He and his wife contributed to Ayreon's rock opera Into the Electric Castle.

He married his bandmate, singer Sharon Adel ; they had three children.

Ruud Jolie is one of his bandmates in Within Temptation.
