ABOUT ROBERT VILLAR

Actor who is best known for his work in the Filipino TV industry. His breakthrough performance came as Buboy on the acclaimed Filipino TV series Dysebel. The show aired on the GMA Network in 2008.

He first appeared on TV in 2006 as a contestant on the ABS-CBN reality singing competition series Little Big Star. He then appeared as himself again that same year on the children's sketch comedy series Goin' Bulilit.

In 2015, he was cast to star as the boxer Manny Pacquiao in the biographical film on his life Kid Kulafu. He auditioned for over a year, eventually beating out hundreds of other hopeful actors, when he was cast.

He was born and raised in Quezon City, Philippines.

He appeared alongside Marian Rivera on the TV series Dysebel.
