ABOUT ROBERT LANTOS
Producer of many Academy Award-nominated and Golden Globe-winning films, including Barney's Version from 2010 and Being Julia from 2004.
His family immigrated to Canada from Uruguay in 1963, and he studied at McGill University in Montreal with a focus on literature. He graduated with a B.A. in 1970 and an M.A. in 1972.
He was the founder of the Canadian television and film company Alliance Communications and was CEO until he sold it in 1998 and started a production company called Serendipity Point Films.
He was married to actress and dancer Jennifer Dale , and they had two children, Ari and Sabrina.
He produced the 2005 film Where the Truth Lies, which was based on the novel by Rupert Holmes and starred Kevin Bacon .
