ABOUT ROBERT KLEIN

Comedian who gained popularity for the sharp political humor in his comedy albums Child of the Fifties and Mind Over Matter. He was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical for his role in They're Playing Our Song.

He became a member of the The Second City after graduating from Yale Drama School.

His 1974 comedy album Mind Over Matter included an extensive discussion of the Watergate scandal.

He had a son, Alexander Stuart Klein, with Brenda Boozer .
