ABOUT ROBERT BENCHLEY
Humorist, critic, and the father of Jaws author Peter Benchley .
He was a member of the Delta Upsilon Fraternity while at Harvard University.
He wrote articles for Vanity Fair and The New Yorker and was in some of Alfred Hitchcock's films.
He married Gertrude Darling in 1914.
He appeared in Alfred Hitchcock 's Foreign Correspondent.
