ABOUT ROB WAINWRIGHT
Retired rugby flanker and number 8 for Scotland.
He represented Cambridge University R.U.F.C.
He became a doctor in addition to his rugby career, and was commissioned by the Royal Army Medical Corps.
He had four children with his wife Romayne.
He was injured in 1996 while playing for Ireland; Gregor Townsend replaced him as captain during his injury.
