ABOUT ROB PALMER

Famous for his hosting work on Australia's Channel 7, he contributed to the programs Room for Improvement; Better Homes and Gardens; and House Calls to the Rescue. In addition, he competed on and won the 2010 season of Dancing with the Stars-Australia.

At the age of seven, he was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes.

He ended his contract with Channel 7 in late 2014.

After marrying Welsh television host Gwenllian Jones, he welcomed a son named Gruffydd and daughters named Branwen and Greta.

Palmer and American television personality Bobby Vila both hosted popular home improvement and DIY (Do-It-Yourself) shows and segments.
