ABOUT ROB BISEL
Grammy Award-winning music producer, songwriter, composer, and musical artist who has worked with popular hip-hop and R&B artists such as Doja Cat , Kendrick Lamar , and SZA . He has also worked with the rock bands Muse and The Strokes .
He interned for mixer and audio engineer Mark Needham while he was a music student at the University of Michigan . Bisel learned how to produce tracks from watching Needham mix. He later cited him as a huge influence.
He co-wrote 15 songs for SZA's 2022 full-length effort SOS. His work on the album earned him eight Grammy nominations. In the year 2024, he won a Grammy Award for his contributions to SZA's single "Snooze."
He named his recording studio after his dog Ponzu.
He worked as an assistant engineer on Tyler The Creator 's album IGOR.
