Ritsu Dōan

ABOUT RITSU DōAN

Professional winger that signed his first professional contract with the Japanese soccer team Gamba Osaka. He was later acquired by SC Freiburg in July 2022. He has also made appearances as a member of the Japanese men's national team.

He initially began his professional career playing for the Gamba Osaka youth squad. He first joined Gamba Osaka in 2011.

He made his international debut playing against the Costa Rican men's national team on September 11, 2018. Nearly one month later, he scored his first international goal while playing against Uruguay.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Amagasaki, Japan.

He shares a June 16th birthday with Jeremy Sarmiento and Jurgen Klopp .
