ABOUT RIE TOMOSAKA
Japanese actress and singer who starred in the NHK television series Kora, Nanba Shiyotto in 1992.
She was born to a beautician father and became a fifth dan at Japanese calligraphy when she was younger then later attended Teikyo University in 1998, where she majored in International Culture before dropping out.
She admitted to having an eating disorder in 1999.
She was married to theatre director Masahiko Kawahara from 2003 to 2004 and they had a son in October 2004.
She is a fellow Japanese television actress to Juri Manase .
