ABOUT RICO GARCIA

Right-handed reliever that was first drafted by the Colorado Rockies during the 2016 MLB Draft. Since then, he has pitched within the San Francisco Giants , Baltimore Orioles , Oakland Athletics , Washington Nationals , New York Mets and New York Yankees organizations. In fact, he has pitched for the Mets in multiple stints.

He is a graduate of St. Louis School. Shortly after graduating, he then enrolled into Hawaii Pacific University for his freshman season.

He made his official major league debut on August 27, 2018 while playing against the Boston Red Sox . He pitched five innings for the Colorado Rockies.

He is a native of Honolulu, Hawaii.

He played alongside Francisco Lindor as member of the Mets during the 2025 MLB regular season.
