Vocalist for the deathcore band Ov Sulfur. He is also recognized for his iamrickyhoover instagram account where he shared testimonials from his barber business, as well as photos documenting his everyday life.

He began posting to Instagram regularly in July 2011. He formed Ov Sulfur in 2020.

He has amassed more than 40,000 followers to his Instagram page. He is the former vocalist of the heavy metal band Suffokate.

He married his wife, Brittney, in October 2021. She gave birth to the couple's first son, August, in August 2015. He features his family and their two dogs on his instagram account.

He and Chris Barnes are both known for their heavy metal singing careers.
