ABOUT RICK DEVENS

Reality television star who is known for having competed on the 38th season of the competition series Survivor : Edge of Extinction. He is also known for his work as a news anchor on the WGXA news station based in Macon, Georgia.

He graduated from college in 2006. Prior to his appearances on the Survivor series, he worked as a sports director for the WGXA news station. The network then launched their own morning news program and he was selected as their first pick to host the show.

He is known for having served six days on the Edge of Extinction island before he was able to return to the Survivor game.

He was born and raised in Blacksburg, Virginia and later settled in Macon, Georgia. His father was an Airborne Army Ranger and West Point graduate.

On season 38 of the show Survivor , he appeared alongside fellow contestants Joe Anglim and Aubry Bracco as well as host of the show Jeff Probst .
