ABOUT RICHELLE CAREY

News anchor famous for her work with KMOV, HLN and Al Jazeera America. She is an outspoken advocate of women's rights and has served as VP of the Board of Directors of Men Stopping Violence.

She earned a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications from Baylor University.

While working at KMOV, she won an Emmy as well as the Emerging Journalist Award from the Houston Association of Black Journalists.

Her mother is a nurse.

Like David Shuster , she has worked as an anchor for Al Jazeera America.
