MLB pitcher who was selected to 9 All-Star games and won a World Series Championship with the New York Yankees in 1978.

He attended Wasson High School in Colorado.

He missed some of the 1979 season with the Yankees due to a thumb injury sustained in a locker room fight with teammate Cliff Johnson .

He had three sons, Jeff, Keith, and Todd, with his wife Corna.

He played alongside Mr. October, Reggie Jackson , on the New York Yankees.
