Reyes Moronta
ABOUT REYES MORONTA
Right-handed reliever who was first signed by the San Francisco Giants as an international free agent in 2010. He was later signed by the Arizona Diamondbacks in August 2022. He has also pitched in the Los Angeles Dodgers organizations.
He first began his professional career playing for the DSL Giants rookie affiliate team. He was only 17 years old at the time.
He is also known by the nickname "El Tibu." He died at the young age of 31 during a motor vehicle incident.
He grew up living with his parents in Santiago, Dominican Republic.
He is a native of the Dominican Republic just like José Reyes and Albert Pujols .
