ABOUT REX BROTHERS

Professional pitcher that was drafted by the Colorado Rockies during the first round of the 2009 MLB Draft. He was signed by the Chicago Cubs in January 2020.

Prior to being drafted, he attended Lipscomb University where he was named Atlantic Sun "Freshman of the Year" in 2007.

He made his major league debut pitching on June 6, 2011 as a member of the Rockies.

He is a native of Unionville, Tennessee. His brother Hunter is also a professional pitcher.

He played alongside Freddie Freeman as a member of the Atlanta Braves during the 2017 MLB season.
