ABOUT REUBEN KAYE
Australian comedian, singer, entertainer, artist, performer, vocalist, musician, and writer who is best known for his drag makeup and for performing standup comedy about being queer and politics. He has appeared on British television on the Channel 4 show Kids React to Drag as well as The Apprentice: You're Fired in 2023.
As a child he was diagnosed with ADHD. He came out at gay at the age of 14. He studied musical theater at the Victorian College of the Arts.
He was the winner of Best In Breed at Crufts 2022.
He has made appearances on Spicks and Specks, The Melbourne International Comedy Fest Galas, and Celebrity Letters & Numbers. He is a member of the band, The Close Contacts.
His parents are Jewish immigrants. His father was an artist and his mother emigrated from East Berlin before the Berlin Wall was built.
He has also been the host of the Come to Daddy podcast, where he has talked about the parental upbringing of various comedian guests such as Rosie Jones and Desiree Burch .
