Rap artist known in Ghana for originating his brand of hip hop called HipLife, a combination of American hip hop beats with Ghanaian hi life rhythms, percussions, vernacular, and Akan Twi and English languages. He released 5 studio albums between 1997 and 2014.
He attended drama school in London before he considered becoming a rap artist.
He was a famous dancer known as Poppa Geri in his adolescent period in Ghana. He was a mentor/judge on Simon Cowell 's Syco Entertainment for The X Factor Nigeria Ghana Season 1.
He married the sixth child of the third president of Ghana, Dr. Hilla Limann . Her name is Zilla Limann, and with Zilla, he has a son and two daughters. He also has a daughter from a previous relationship.
He has recorded songs with Wyclef Jean , Beenie Man , 2Face Idibia , and Idris Elba .
