Johannesburg radio talk show host, broadcast journalist, and author. For her nonfiction work, Endings and Beginnings, she received the prestigious Alan Paton Award.

She became engaged to Brian Tlhabi, a medical practitioner, on Valentine's Day, 2010; the couple married seven months later.
She and Darren Whackhead Simpson both hosted popular South African radio shows.
