ABOUT REBECCA HORN
Installation artist and director who rose to fame for creating the body modification pieces Pencil Mask and Unicorn.
She received her training at Hochschule für Bildende Künste, Hamburg from 1964 until 1970.
Much of her work has features imperfect bodies and themes of balance.
She was born in Michelstadt, Germany, and received drawing lessons from her Romanian governess.
Her 1990 film, Buster's Bedroom, starred Donald Sutherland .
