ABOUT RALPH JORDAN
Legend of Auburn University football coached the team for over two decades, finishing thirteen seasons in the top 20, and winning the national championship in 1957.
After a standout football, basketball and baseball career in the SEC, he became the assistant football coach and head basketball coach at Auburn.
In all, under his watch the Auburn Tigers won 176 games and appeared in 12 bowls, earning him four Coach of the Year titles.
He grew up in Selma, Alabama.
Gus Malzahn took over coaching the storied Auburn University football program in 2013.
