ABOUT RAFAEL MARCHáN

Professional back-catcher that was first signed by the Philadelphia Phillies as an international free agent in 2015. He was also a member of the Venezuelan national team. He was eventually named one of the Phillies top 100 MLB prospects.

He initially began his professional baseball career with the DSL Phillies rookie affiliate team. After 44 games, he was then promoted.

Besides playing baseball, he also has a passion for basketball. During his free time, he also enjoys going to the beach and watching movies.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Caracas, Venezuela.

He played alongside Bryce Harper as a member for the Phillies during the 2025 MLB regular season.
