ABOUT PIOTR ADAMCZYK
Polish TV actor known primarily for his portrayal of Karol Wojtyła, who would later become Pope John Paul II . He was cast in this role for 2005's Karol: A Man Who Became Pope and its 2006 sequel series Karol: The Pope, The Man.
He studied at National Academy of Dramatic Art in Warsaw. His breakthrough role was portraying composer Frederic Chopin for the show Chopin: Desire for Love in 2002
He is an accomplished theatre actor, having performed in over 100 plays. While attending acting school, he won a scholarship allowing him to attend the British American Drama Academy. There, he performed as the lead role in Hamlet.
His parents are Janina Borońska-Łągwa and Andrzej Łągwa
He starred alongside actor Adam Woronowicz in Chopin: Desire for Love.
