Philip Graves
ABOUT PHILIP GRAVES
Irish journalist and author best remembered for exposing the Protocols of the Elders of Zion as an elaborate anti-Semitic hoax.
He attended Oxford University and became a foreign correspondent for The Times in Constantinople (present day Istanbul).
He was also a practitioner of entomology, and published numerous works on insects and butterflies.
His father, Alfred Perceval Graves, was also a writer, as was his younger brother, Robert Graves .
He served alongside T.E. Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia) in the British Army.
