ABOUT PHIL ROBERTS

Defender who played for the Wales national team in 1974 and professionally from 1968-1985 for several clubs, including Portsmouth and the Bristol Rovers.

From 1966-1968, he played youth soccer for the Bristol Rovers.

He finished his playing career with Chard Town in 1984-1985.

He was born in Cardiff, Wales.

John Charles also played for the Welsh national team.
