ABOUT PETER PARFITT
Left-handed batsman who made 37 tests for England from 1962-1972. before retiring when he was 35.
He was a versatile youth athlete, and played soccer for Norwich City's reserve squad while he was playing minor counties cricket.
He was a Wisden Cricketer of the Year in 1963.
He was born in Billingford, Breckland, Norfolk, England.
In 1968 he replaced Fred Titmus as captain for Middlesex.
