ABOUT PETER BRYAN GEORGE
Twentieth-century Welsh-English novelist. His most famous works include Red Alert (originally published as Two Hours to Doom), Cool Murder, and The Final Steal.
During the World War II years, he survived a plane crash while serving in the Royal Air Force.
He wrote under the pseudonyms of Peter George, Peter Bryant, and Bryan Peters.
He was born in Wales; he committed suicide in Hastings, England at the age of forty-two.
His thriller Red Alert inspired Stanley Kubrick 's famous film Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb.
