ABOUT PETER BANKS
Guitarist for the progressive rock band Yes who worked on the projects Flash and Empire as well.
He learned how to play banjo and guitar at a young age. Banks was responsible for coming up with the idea for Yes's band name.
After getting kicked out of Yes, he started the group Flash, continuing with his progressive rock sound.
His father bought him an acoustic guitar when he was young.
He and bandmate Chris Squire met in the short-lived band The Syn.
