ABOUT PETE WOOD

Former right-handed pitcher who played two seasons in the big leagues, for the Buffalo Bisons in 1885 and the Philadelphia Quakers in 1889.

He played for the Hamilton Clippers in the Canadian League before reaching the major leagues.

He played four game in the outfield and two at first base during his short big league career.

He played alongside his brother Fred Wood on the Buffalo Bisons.

Third baseman Arlie Latham also played for the Buffalo Bisons in the 1880s.
