ABOUT PERRO AGUAYO

Wrestler best known for being a seven-time WWF Light Heavyweight Champion during his reign in the 1970s until the 1990s.

He made his professional debut in 1968, as a 22-year old.

In 2012 he was inducted into the Asistencia Asesoria y Administracion Hall of Fame.

He was born in Nochistlan, Zacatecas. He had a son named Perro Aguayo Jr. who was also a wrestler.

He was often described as a combination between Bruno Sammartino and Terry Funk.
