ABOUT PAYTON HENRY

Professional catcher who was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers during the sixth round of the 2016 Major League Draft. He was later traded to the Miami Marlins in July 2021. He was drafted out of Pleasant Grove High School in Pleasant Grove, Utah.

He originally began his professional career playing for the AZL Brewers. He played in exactly 24 games before being promoted.

He made his major league debut playing against the Pittsburgh Pirates on September 17, 2021, as a member of the Marlins. He finished the game hitting 1 for 4.

He grew up living with his family in American Fork, Utah. His younger brother Brooks Henry is an entrepreneur.

He was originally drafted by the Brewers just like Ryan Braun .
