She grew up with a passion for makeup and wanting a career as a makeup artist. After graduating high school, she moved to New York and began applying makeup and practicing on customers while working as a sales associate at the Yves Saint Laurent counter in Bergdorf Goodman.

She worked as a makeup artist for MTV's Yo! MTV Raps and House of Style.

Her husband is from Italy. Her daughter, Bianca, speaks three languages and love painting. The family has a cat named Raja.

Her first celebrity client was the actress Liv Tyler .
