Auckland-born rugby footballer and coach.
He won the 1999-2000 Heineken Cup as a player with the Northampton Saints.
He became head rugby coach for teams like the Blues in Super Rugby and Connacht Rugby in Ireland.
He fathered five children.
He and Ben Foden both played for the Northampton Saints.
