Singer known for competing on season 22 of The Voice in 2022. She sang songs including Labrinth 's "Jealous" and Etta James ' classic "I'd Rather Go Blind." Her family owned a small restaurant, and they closed the business on Mondays so they could watch The Voice. She was eliminated in the top eight following a live results show.

She started performing at restaurants and bars when she was a teenager.

She also performed Bob Dylan 's "Make You Feel My Love." She got a standing ovation from all four coaches for her cover of Lady Gaga 's "I'll Never Love Again" from the film A Star Is Born .

She has Nepali American heritage. She was the first of her family to be born in the United States. When political unrest began in Nepal, her father decided to move the family for their safety.

On The Voice, she was on Team Legend, led by John Legend .
